Kat Chan is a Green Room Award-winning designer working across theatre, dance, styling and video art. Originally trained as an architect, Kat worked in architectural offices in Adelaide and Tokyo before returning to Australia to study her Masters in Production Design at the Victorian College of the Arts.

Kat has created designs for companies including The Australian Ballet, Melbourne Theatre Company, Malthouse Theatre, Stephanie Lake Company, Red Stitch and  Project Animo and artists Eugenia Lim, Alice Topp, Stephanie Lake, Matt Lutton, Deborah Brown, Petra Kalive and Tasnim Hossain.
